Transition

As part of our transition process, the Year 6 students come to Broadgreen Intermediate School for a visit in Term 4, they complete friendship forms which are taken into consideration when placing them, we work with their current school on placement, we notify parents/caregivers of placement before Christmas and then the family has the opportunity to visit the class and teacher before the first day of school. First day of school is a mihi whakatau to welcome all new people to our kura. In Term 1 we have a “Meet the Teacher” goal setting opportunity for you and your child to have an input into their learning.
